He has a contractual commitment to Los Blancos until 2026 but is now set to leave the club after this season. As per the prominent journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) wants Ancelotti to be on the sidelines during Brazil's next set of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Will Carlo Ancelotti Lead Brazil to Their Sixth World Cup Victory?
According to recent reports, the Real Madrid manager is expected to receive a significant paycheck in his new role. If he accepts the terms, he could potentially become the highest-paid national team manager. Brazil is currently ranked fourth in the CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifiers points table and is still in contention to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The country has not won the coveted title since 2022, and CBF is hopeful that Ancelotti would be the best fit for the job. While Real Madrid remains in contention for the La Liga title, Barcelona's strong form suggests that Real Madrid's chances of leapfrogging Hansi Flick's team are limited.
